European
Weekly’s
Pazifische Rundschau/Revue du Pacifique:
We are the bridge between Europe and the Pacific Northwest
The
European Weekly’s Pazifische Rundschau/Revue du Pacifique
was originally founded as the Pazifische Rundschau in Vancouver,
British Columbia in 1965 and has been headquartered in Seattle,
Washington since 1998. Our business plan is simple –
help build and promote the European community in North America.
The European Weekly’s Pazifische Rundschau/Revue du
Pacifique does consider itself “the bridge,”
and a source of information for the European-American community.
We offer additional value by keeping them informed of events
here and in their homeland - in English and their home language
(currently French and German).
The overall objective of the paper is to bring broader European
political, economical, cultural and social issues together
with current events and life in the Pacific Northwest. Building
a strong network for and with the local European community
is important to us. Given this, we see us as representing
the European community in the Pacific Northwest.
We strive for excellence using a variety of written forms:
Essays, analysis, commentary, editorials, and reviews.
In addition to subscriptions the European Weekly’s
Pazifische Rundschau/Revue du Pacifique is distributed free
of charge to European clubs and organizations in the Pacific
Northwest, and to a variety of European businesses and stores.
