Showtunes! Theater Company’s spring concert is a marvelous party of a musical – SAIL AWAY – with book, music and lyrics by the one and only Noёl Coward. Originally written for the Broadway sensation Elaine Stritch, the score still bubbles like vintage champagne. You’ll imagine yourself on a yacht eating caviar and listening to grand tunes as you Sail Away.

R&B and jazz vocalist Freda Payne made it to #1 on the music charts with her song ”Band of Gold.” She sang her way across Broadway staring in shows such as Jelly’s Last Jam, Sophisticated Ladies and Blues in the Night. Now hear this vocalist pay tribute to the legendary Ella Fitzgerald. Freda’s renditions of “A-Tisket, A- Tasket,” “Sweet Georgia Brown,” “Mack the Knife” and many others will prove both singers legendary.
